On a rare, cloudless day, you can see Seattle's famous skyline and Mt Rainier sunset, and join the locals by saying, "The mount is out!" The 605 foot tall Seattle Space Needle was built for the 1962 Worlds Fair and 50 miles away, Mt Rainier, rises to 14,411 feet. And as an extra treat, if you look up, at 20,000 feet you might be able to see a Delta airplane getting ready to land at Sea-Tac airport.
